One or two lines, the way you would tell a colleague. "Call with Acme went well, they want pricing by Friday."

Say which company, person or project
Start typing. Matching threads appear as you type. Pick one and the note joins that story. If nothing matches, choose "Start a new thread" and it is created as you save.
3
Tasks and files come after
A task always belongs to a thread, so you add it by opening the thread and clicking + Task. Same for documents. There is nothing to set up first and no order to remember.
4
Then it looks after itself
The next step is pulled out of your note automatically. Long threads get a running summary so anyone can pick the relationship up without a handover call. Nothing is ever edited or deleted, corrections are just new notes.
You can also log notes from Slack or WhatsApp. Message the bot the same way you would write here and it files the note for you, asking which thread if it is not obvious. Open a thread to change its status or owner, attach a document, or merge it with a duplicate.

Start here. You never create a thread first.
Write what happened, say who it is about, and the thread is created or matched for you.
Tasks and documents are added afterwards, from inside a thread.
